About Me

I grew up in Wiesbaden and live in Freiburg now. I spent the last year travelling in different places of the world and I would like to enable others travel by hosting them at my place now. I love hiking, mountainbiking and playing card games. I just started taking arabic lessons so if you speak this language (or another interesting one, I'm not picky) it'd be cool to learn a few useful or funny expressions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to visit places and actually meet locals to get a better idea what the places are really like. I always appreciate breaking stereotypes about different cultures and countries. I basically want to see what the world is really like for myself. Furthermore I'd like to enable others travel by hosting them at my place. I really enjoy having fun, interesting people around.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have watched an embarrassingly high number of movies and television series. Lately I have been into Stranger Things, Arrested Development, Brooklyn 99, Sense 8 and der Tatortreiniger (which is a German show you probably don’t know). Some of my favourite movies are The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and 10 Things I Hate About You.

I enjoy reading classic german literature (Büchner, Goethe, Horvath) but the book that most inspired me lately is Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took the Trans-Siberian train from Moscow to Beijing last year which was an amazing and a little bit exhausting trip. Being in an open compartment with 50 people and no showers for five straight days was a whole new experience! But it was so great to make new friends along the way and to explore different countries and cultures.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to teach you some german and I would love to learn some useful or funny expressions in your native language! Also I'd like to spend some time with you and to share stories of our countries, travel experiences and daily life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Beds. I'm not rich but I'll share what Ican.
