I am a positive, kind, warm, loving independent spirit who have been living in Canada for more than 5 years away from my family in South Korea. Very recently, I quit my engineering career in Calgary, and decided to travel spontaneously for a while.

I realized that life itself is unexpected and it will be foolish to plan for it so far ahead. Our knowledge is as good as our past experiences and information that we gathered - but never beyond! I am open to experience the wonders of life as it unfolds before me - without any expectations or judgement. I also try to practice loving & kindness and compassion with everyone.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To experience wonders of spontaneous life as it unfolds before me. To meet new people who are positive, friendly, kind and interesting.

I feel so blessed having met wonderful CS hosts and members who enriched my first trip to Europe in September 2015. And, I also enjoyed offering the same to the surfers and visitors in Calgary. Now, since I am on the road again, I want to share some kindness, compassion and love in this short transient life with couchsurfing hosts and fellow travellers.

I am fascinated by indigenous cultures in untouched areas of foreign countries. Wants to explore more!

Meditation, yoga, indigenous culture, minimalistic healthy living, writing poems, painting, piano, guitar, hiking, camping, travel, cultural diversity, sustainable development, earth homes, body languages, watching documentaries, reading, being in silence, being conscious about every movement I do - it's not easy but I am increasingly getting better :)

Some places I want to visit next: India, Nepal, Indigenous tribes areas in Brazil Amazon rainforest/Australia/Myanmar/Indonesia/Malaysia, Vietnam, Japanese temples

There's profound joy in seeking to understand the universe and its relationship with human beings through books, videos, sounds, and through just gazing up the sky. Even better, just by being in the moment 100%. I also feel liberating when creating music or dancing spontaneously.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Slept in a primary forest jungle in Costa Rica. With a jaguar breathing near my hammock at night. Also, stayed with an indigenous shaman family in Costa Rica.

Hiked up and camped overnight on top of a volcano in Nicaragua. Also did volcano boarding.

I would like to learn about cultural diversities including traditional songs, rituals and practices of any religions, Tai Chi, Chi Gong, etc.
I can teach Korean language, Korean recipies, meditation, and how to smile with your heart.

Meditation techniques, ginger miso dressing recipes (amazing for salad!), Korean cuisine recipes, good laughter and smile :)

A clean, respectful, tidy, easygoing guest who can smile with her heart. I would also love to take care of your pets (I love dogs! :)) and take them out for a walk and play.
