Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Before I served my military service here in Korea, I had my 1 full month to travel Europe by myself. It was a good time, pleasure for me to travel Europe by myself staying in the hostels, guesthouse, and more other nice staying houses. But one thing I hoped for was that, I couldn't meet the local people there in Europe. It was nice to sight-see nice places, meet up with other people from all over the world. But I found out that I really want to stay with the local people and find out about how they are living , knowing that is a real travel for me. Plus, I really like knowing people from all over the world, sharing interests and culture,. I would like to listen to what others' say and tell about myself about my country, or any other things you would like to talk about. These are the reasons why I really want to couchsurf all over the world! :)

Intereses

First of all, I really like traveling, the most specific reason why I am writing these stuff down.
I really like meeting new people, learn about their culture. And I like reading books, mostly non-fiction books telling about amazing psychological results that are found based on scientific things. But sometimes, I read novel books, too. I like watching films, mostly romantic comedies. People say it is odd for a man to like a romantic comedy movie, but I like the throbbing the movie gives me after watching the movie :). I also like working out and running since I recently finished my military service. I am used to playing soccer since I was young, and still loves soccer.

Música, películas y libros

I like slow and nice jazz streaming out from the speaker. It gives me this nice mood, pleasure and calmness. But also, I like to dance from the club music, which are very loud. Those dance music can't help myself to dance when the cool and pumping music comes out.

I like watching romantic comedy movies. The movies I remember are Love Actually, About Time, Romantic Holiday, and etc. Those movies don't only give me throbbing about love, but also teaches a big lesson in life. For example, The thing I remember about About Time is to use time wisely and live the day finding many small happy things during your day to make a day actually your good day. The main character says the day is not changed by the surroundings around you. It is more based on how your interpret your day. So I learned that I should enjoy my day as much as I could finding many happy things in life. Also, other movies that I saw give me these warmness of how the couples in the movie feel each others' love deeply in their heart.

Books. I like reading psychology books especially based on scientific proofs. The reason why I started liking psychological books is because I wanted to know about my feelings and study deeper to understand my emotions that vary all the time. And it was nice to study psychology and found the generalization of common emotions that we humans encounter in life. So I would like to talk about how other people feel their emotions in life. So I would like to listen to peoples' thoughts, emotions, the feelings they got from today or experience they had. So I am liking more and more about psychology nowadays. And my major is Chinese. I am already fluent in English because of my learning abroad in America when I was young. I like learning languages because it give me more chance to speak to foreign people, and learn more about them, and Chinese is one of them.

There are multiple things I remember. But since couch surfing is about travelling and meeting people, I want to share my experiences when I traveled in Europe. Since traveling to Europe was my first experience, it was a challenging job for me to plan, meeting travelers, finding where to ride trains and buses... But I managed to travel by myself for 30 days in Europe!

I can teach you about many things. Our culture, that is a big thing. Any topic is fine. We can talk about anything whether the talking gets fun, sad, fear, love, anything! I would like to learn many things from you also! About your culture, your lifestyle, the food you make, your hobby, or what makes you happy in life, and so on. Through those things, I would like to share the feelings and learn the difference. It is gonna be so much fun and amazing to know each other who are living in the other part of the world!!

I can share about my culture, and I also like making foods, too! When ingredients are available in the country I stay at, I would love to make those cuisines for you. Or any traditional presents. Or even when there aren't material things going on from one another, getting to know about a host is fine with me.
