Overview
About Me
I grew up in South Korea and moved out to the US for grad school. Once I got to experience San Diego there was no question that I would settle down roots in this beautiful city.
I love being out in the wild with longer hikes, some favorites are the John Muir Trail, Torres del Paine O Circuit, Tour du Mont Blanc, and the Three Passes Trek. Looking for more and would love suggestions.
I love Couchsurfing as a way to meet locals and experience the life there! I'm finding that hosting also allows to meet like-minded people with cool stories to exchange and gaining a new perspective of the city I live in.
At this time I can host up to two nights. Please agree to being out of the house from 9am-5pm in your request as I work from home and it is a tight space. I prefer hosting independent travelers who are good exploring on their own as I won’t be able to show you around town. Cooking dinner together one of the nights would be the perfect amount of time spent together for me :) Looking forward to meeting you!

Teach, Learn, Share
Always happy to philosophize and ponder upon the wonders of living life.
I play guitar and piano and live harmonizing vocals. It would be lovely to sing together!
The different in cultures around the world is quite fascinating and it’s interesting to think about how much a language shapes our framework. I’d love to have conversations on our differing experiences and share stories.
