Salaam! I'm Jafar, desert Lord from one of the largest indigenous tribes in Southern Jordan - Howeitat . My grandfather took a part in Great Arab Revolt with Lawrence of Arabia. In addition to being a desert tour guide operating in Wadi Rum for more than a decade also a certified scuba diving master, an emergency first responder, a Kasat Hawa (hijama) expert and the great and the most modest outdoors chief.

I'm doing crazy and moderate Jeep-Trips in Wadi Rum and build a caravan-serai, a self-sustinable place connected to nature. We combine Bedouin traditional values, know-how and experience with modern-day life - it's an ongoing experiment in living simply - uncluttered by most of the things we used to fill our lives with, leaving space for what really matters - come to take a part!
