I am a single father, traveler, and optimist! Everything that travel offers sincerely intrigues me. It's my life mission for me and my daughter to explore as much of this world as we can.
I have lived and spent time in Europe, Guatemala and here in the US. I genuinely enjoy meeting different people of different backgrounds and cultures!
To me there is much to be learned from all the different people that inhabit this world. We all have our own stories and experiences and to be able to tap into that is nothing short of amazing.
I am an optimist so I tend to live life accordingly.
" For what its worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there any no rules to this thing. We can make the best or worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."
- Benjamin Button
"Every night I used to pray that Iâd find my people- and finally I did- on the open road. We have nothing to lose, nothing to gain, nothing we desired anymore- except to make our lives into a work of art.
LIVE FAST. DIE YOUNG. BE WILD. AND HAVE FUN.
I believe in the country America used to be. I belive in the person I want to become, I believe in the freedom of the open road. And my motto is the same as ever- *I believe in the kindness of strangers. And when Iâm at war with myself- I Ride. I Just Ride.*
Who are you? Are you in touch with all your darkest fantasies?
Have you created a life for yourself where youâre free to experience them?
I Am Fucking Crazy. But I Am Free."
-Lana Del Rey (from the music video 'Ride')
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
CS has given plenty of amazing experiences. I try to give back in anyway I can -- whether that be showing someone around, or giving them advice on places to go.
I had my first CS experience at a local meetup in my home state of Rhode Island in 2011. It was there that I was introduced to the great people that are found in CS community.
Days after my first meetup I departed for London on my first CS experience abroad. The time spent in London just further assured me of the greatness that is CS and its community.
I have quite a few, but of the many, there is few that fill my interest quite like traveling!
