Hey, I am Alex! I am a photographer and videographer from the United States. I love to hike and try to integrate this into my travels as much as possible. I love learning about the cultures of different people around the world and overall having as many adventures as I can! I am a pretty spiritual person, and have a special love for India that keeps me returning there.

I am on Couchsurfing to meet new people along my journeys around the world. When I am not traveling, I want to return the favor that my amazing hosts have given me. From my experience so far, if I can meet some great people and be able to experience first hand the culture from a locals perspective, it makes for a much better journey around the world.

I enjoy and respect all types of music and the skills and talent that goes into making it but I really like folk or reggae music probably the best. Thats what I have been listening to the most lately. Every song has a message and can connect to you in a special way if you are open to it, this is why I do enjoy all types of music. Music is a big part of my life.

This is always a hard question to answer. I've followed my heart and went on a solo trip around India for a month, as one of my first international trips. This has led me to return to India 5 times and absolutely fall in love with the country and it's people.
