Financial Independence

ABOUT ME

I am a techie, who used to believe that scientific progress makes mankind happier. I understood that I were wrong. I now believe that happiness is a product of "mental healthiness". Moreover, my hypothesis is that 'local' begets 'global'. Following these, I am lazer focused on my long term goal, which is to achieve financial independence in the next 6-8 years by building a personal business and investing -> start and make a happy family ('local' happiness) -> educate and employ people in my community and further (global 'happiness').

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is well expressed in the saying by Socrates: "I know one thing: that I know nothing". Which for me means that there is no evidence of my hypotheses being true.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hang out with CS folks and surf.
I can't host in Azerbaijan. But I plan to host while studying in London starting Sep, 2015.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I were hosted twice while traveling across the East Coast of the U.S.. As a new comer to CS and the American culture of giving, I were impressed with hospitality of Sean and Soheil.

Later, during my trip to Prague, CZ I enjoyed meeting CS-s from dozens of countries during CS Weekly Meeting. We took it further and went out for a Jazz Concert and a historical Chelsea vs Bayern Munich football (soccer) match in an open-air green pub.

* I will share my passion for sciences, entrepreneurship and financial independence.
* I can introduce you to programming.
* Considering that I currently work for Multi Sports Events Industry (Olympic and Continental Games), I can share my experience of being in this hard-to-enter sector.
* As a native speaker of Russian I will be glad to help you start learning the language or practice at any level.

* I would like to hear about personal experiences in entrepreneurship and financial sector.
* I would happy to learn basics of Arabic.
