ABOUT ME

Well, it's official - we're off to see the world! We will be traveling the US during the summer of 2011 and flying to Europe in September 2011 to spend one year in Europe, Morocco, Turkey and Thailand. We can't wait to meet you all, and host new friends when we return to the states!

I am a massage therapist, and my wife is a pastry chef. We're not big party animals, but we know how to have a good time. We tend more toward the lame fun side of things (daily crosswords, beer and bowling, waterparks in Wisconsin, excessive Scrabble tournaments). We know, we're dorks.

At the moment we are only surfing, but we hosted several people in Chicago before we left, and hope to host many more when we return!

Interests

We love old libraries, old buildings and old whiskey. We want to see anything that makes your city/town unique, and do anything that makes you smile. We adore stupid jokes, dancing, walking neighborhoods at night and learning languages. We'll try anything twice!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Justin delivered a baby and saved the life of a child. That was pretty amazing.

Alyssa went to China with her family to adopt her little sister. That was also pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you to bake, knit, golf, ride a motorcycle and how to get pet hair out of almost anything. :) We want to learn as many languages as we can, eat as many different kinds of food as we can and learn everything about where you live and what it's like to live there.
