I recently graduated from college and am trying to become more adventurous and visit new places/meet new people! While in college, I got to go on a couple class trips to places like Tanzania and Peru, where we spent time living with local communities and getting to know the cities and villages we stayed in. It opened me up to the knowledge and perspectives that can be gained by stepping outside your comfort zone.

I am excited to travel solo, but I would love to meet local people and other travelers when I'm around! I think it makes the trip much more exciting and opens me up to new experiences and new ideas!

I love all kinds of music, but I definitely enjoy folk and indie rock for long car/bus/train rides. I love finding new music to listen to, and I am always excited to learn about the music styles and tastes of the places I visit.

I love books about mythology and stories! I grew up reading collections of folktales from a variety of cultures, and I am fascinated how story-telling is both the same and completely unique in different places.

I cook pretty good Indian food! And I enjoy cooking/trying new recipes. I also find chores to be relaxing sometimes, and am happy to help with household tasks!
