I recently moved to the Sunshine Coast from Canada with my family. Back home I was a lifeguard and had a radio show at the local station. I came from a pretty small town and I'm still fairly new here, and really looking forward to expanding my horizons and opening myself up to new experiences. I'm very excited to get to travel, and put myself out there in new and exciting places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now that I'm living in such a beautiful country, I would love to take advantage of the opportunity to travel, gain new experiences, and get out of my comfort zone. Travelling can be pretty costly, and staying with hosts will not only allow me to reduce the cost of seeing new places, it will give me the opportunity to meet new people, and make friends with people I would ordinarily never get to meet.

I love to read lots of books, I swim, and I'm learning how to surf. I like hiking and road trips, and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite books are The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, Savages by Don Winslow, The Long, Hard Road out of Hell by Marilyn Manson, The Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley, and Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis. I'll also read anything by Chuck Palahniuk.

My music taste isn't too biased, but I'm a pretty big rap fan. I listen to Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, Berner, Kid Cudi, Asap Rocky, and J Cole, I also really like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bob Marley, and Pink Floyd.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once did a 10 kilometre hike up a mountain with two fractured ribs, and I got to climb a waterfall in Jamaica.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a really happy, outgoing person and I can have fun wherever I am regardless of the circumstances. I love making new friends, and I have a good sense of humor, and gravitate towards people who do as well. I'm not fussy or high- maintenance, and I'm really just interested in discovering more about myself through travel and the great people I meet along the way.
