About Me

I'm an international student at the University of Texas at Austin. I'm from Cuenca, Ecuador.
I'm studying Electrical Engineering and I'm new to the United States.
This is my first experience with Couchsurfing, and I feel the nature of this site and what it represents suits me well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be staying in the USA for four years and I really want to make them count. I want to meet new people and experience new things. When I'm not studying, using my time to explore the country and meet new and interesting people and seeing what each State has to offer sounds like the perfect plan.
I don't just want to see each State, I want to know the people and experience it in a deeper level.

Interests

I'm a very big fan of videogames, both playing them and discussing them with friends.
I like stories. I want to hear yours and share mine.
I am on the University's Quidditch team and it is a sport I really enjoy. I'm not so good yet but I'm practicing to be the very best,

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, I'm a fan of The Beatles, Queen and those kinds of bands. I also really enjoy things from Silbermond, Zaz and Adele. I also enjoy listening to the soundtracks of various movies and games.

I'm a big fan of the A Song of Ice and Fire series, and I can't wait until getting the next book. I also greatly enjoyed 1984, the Alchemist, and The Catcher in the Rye.

My two favorite movies are My Name is Khan and The Prestige. I also like Pixar Movies, the Batman Trilogy and Black Swam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived 8 months by myself in the capital of my country when I was 17. Was an amazing experience and made me see a little bit about life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

TI can give them a great friendship, and be there for whatever they need.
Helping in the chores in the house in a given, as well as giving back anything they give in one way or another. I'd like to think of them as my temporary family.
My hosts may also get to have some genuine Ecuadorian treats!
