To expand and build friendships with people from various places, and cultures.

ABOUT ME

We are a couple from Bogota, Colombia who have been living in the United States for the last twenty years. We have learned and come to value friendship as an important and fundamental aspect of personal development and happiness. We love company, and the ability to learn and share experiences with other people. We are open minded and politically very liberal. We consider ourselves secular humanists. We strongly stand against all forms of violence, discrimination, exploitation, racism, and xenophobia.

PHILOSOPHY

Our personal philosophy is to develop a sense of universal brotherhood, while building and discovering our own humanity. We are pacifists and wish to project good will, and understanding to the people we encounter while learning what we can from others.

Although we are new to the CS project, we are participating by being good hosts, and learning more about the CS project ourselves through these experiences.

Intereses

We enjoy cycling, and sometimes can be very competitive. We are huge soccer fans, and we don't have a problem traveling across the globe for a big game. We enjoy learning, reading, and watching informative documentaries in areas ranging from History, Philosophy, Science, and culture. We enjoy all styles of music ranging from the traditionally latin music of our native land (salsa, vallenato, cumbia) to the music of The Beatles, Classical music, and have come to learn and appreciate more current themes in alternative rock music from our two sons who are both musicians.
