What could be better than exploring the world with a whole year to spare? Nothing! So that's what I'm doing. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, I'm 19 and taking the year off from Architecture study.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the present time I'm on the look out for friends and couches, the whole lot. I would love to host back at home yet due to my travels this isn't possible at the moment. Though definitely in the future, my humble abode will sure to be a traveler's delight.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have very little experience as of yet with CS, but I feel this will begin to change very quickly as my overseas travel progresses.

...my overseas travel experience has now grown and I can safely say I´ve CSed through Israel, Hungary, Poland, Germany, France and still counting - I´m still alive and loving it!

Interests

There are several things that simply give my life the real buzz it requires. Firstly there is music. I play guitar and love everything funky, bluesy, soulful, jazzy and old; with a bit of most other genres too!

I hold a strong passion for art and design and love quality design from glassware and cutlery to furniture, lighting and of course buildings. I'm a social person and would never deny a social outing and amercing myself in different cultures. On my interests list are also: cooking, billiards and of course travel!

Lastly that I can think of is my real interest in coffee! Nothing can beat a good quality brew with some scrambled eggs and avocado too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Among my favourite artists are: James Brown, Etta James, Keb' Mo', BB King, Eric Clapton, Sharon Jones & The Dap-King, Sly & The Family Stone, Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, The Staple Singers, Jon Cleary, Millie Jackson, Buddy Guy, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, just to give you a sense.

Movies include: Forrest Gump, The Blues Brothers, the Bourne series, Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Wedding Singer and I also have a bit of a soft spot for those war type films like: Troy, Lord of The Rings, The Last Samurai and anything Disney and Pixar!
A little off topic, but above all movies - My life isn't complete without Boston Legal and Seinfeld!

Favourite book of all time would have to be 'The Twits' and closely followed by 'George's Marvelous Medicine' by Roald Dahl but more recently I have really been enjoying autobiographies. Presently reading Keith Richards and soon Richard Branson - but have already read Eric Clapton and Lance Armstrong's.
