About Me

Settling in New York after 15 months or travel around the world. Meeting Couchsurfers to remind myself of the road.

I'm a full time architect, sometimes an engineer, and always a traveler. I moved here a few months ago after travelling for over a year so I'm still new and up to meet up locals and travelers to get to know the city. I also host outings to small concerts from time to time. So if you like live music and drinks for cheap, join me!

I quit my Job in 2011 to hike, live, help, and learn from a list of places I always wanted to get to know better. I went to South America, France, and Spain, with short stops in Israel and Tunisia to visit friends. Then I went to Japan and learned some Japanese and met a lot of great people everywhere I went. 日本人はとても親切です。

Before I settle in, if I ever do, there's a lot I have to see first, and many many people to meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Attending CS activities, showing people around the city.

I made a friend in Argentina who recommended it to me. I've been hosted by a few new friends in France who were great to get to know and with whom I still keep in touch. I've been to lots of activities in France, Japan, a few in South America, and now right her in Brooklyn.

Meeting people on the road, seeing the landscape by land travel and hiking, roaming aimlessly in cities, eating everything in my way, picking up languages, and getting to know local music and neighborhoods.

I've done two tours of South America, about a year's worth of travelling and living. I'm also fluent in Spanish and very familiar with Latin America so I would be able to help with questions and suggestions for travel throughout the region.
