Hey! I'm Jaimee and I'm travelling and working through Europe for a year and a half! I'm from Brisbane, Australia but am Dutch by nationality. I graduated last year but decided I needed to take a gap before really getting into uni... so this is it!

I'm a really positive, happy person. I am outgoing and enthusiastic and while I'm also really active and can't sit still I'm also super relaxed! My favourite thing to do is just vibe out and just listen to people. I'll probably laugh at you a lot but it's just because I truly enjoy what you're saying!

I live for euphoria. I like to question things and have meaningful discussions and come to realisations that I don't understand anymore in the next hour. I live in the moment. I like to chill. Everything floats my boat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess it's an authentic way of travelling? I'm into that. I'm backpacking because I'm passionate about the world; its people, ways and cultures but also because I just like to have a good time - take things slowly, appreciate the details and enjoying other people's company. La dolce vita?

Interests

I love the beach! It's what I miss most from home

Cooking - I usually like organic, intensely-flavoursome food. I went to Japan with a friend two years ago and have been hooked on their kitchen since.

Taekwondo and yoga, whenever I hear music I need to dance!

Walking on bare feet.

Languages! I speak English, Dutch and French fluently! I'm going to study Spanish at uni too!
