Overview
About Me
I love languages, cultures, and meeting people from around the world. I believe the highest expression of empathy is global humanism. Few things bring me greater satisfaction than having an engaging conversation and discovering a new country, a new language, a new culture, and a new, fascinating human being.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My main goal on Couchsurfing is to have the opportunity to learn languages and explore the cultures behind them. I want to make friends from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love rock, ska, reggae, salsa, and blues, which is the style I play most often on my violin.
Some books that I really enjoyed are One Hundred Years of Solitude (Cien años de soledad) by Gabriel García Márquez, 1984 by George Orwell, and The Flowers of Evil (Les Fleurs du mal) by Charles Baudelaire. I haven’t read any novels in Portuguese yet, but I plan to soon.
I’m also a big fan of Colombian cinema. One of my favorite movies is Embrace of the Serpent (El abrazo de la serpiente), a film based on Amazonian cultures.
What I Can Share with Hosts
since I really love language, I can teach Spanish, I really enjoy sharing my languages and culture. I can also play the violin or teach you how to play it. As a psychology student, we can also talk about mental health and I can just listen to you if you wish.
