About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I work with water both as a passion as for a living. My work is building and designing swimming ponds (natural pools), ecological sanitation systems, rainwater harvesting, drinking water treatment, sustainable architecture.

But when I get money and time I travel back to Colombia, where I'm from, and try to continue with La Gota con Botas, the project I have to work in water and sanitation with peasant communities that have been displaced from their territories and are either trying to make a living in the peripheries of a city or trying to go back to their homes.

ABOUT ME

We are living now with my wife in Salobreña, a small city in the coast of Granada (south of Spain). She is working as a Montessori guide for 2 - 6 years old kids in a parent's association.
I have a project of sustainable living focused in building and designing sustainable water systems and architecture. I started the project in Colombia and now we have started working also in Spain.

I practice underwater sports like freediving and underwater rugby.

We live with two lovely Schnauzers, a medium sized male called Otto and a mini female called Bruja.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For years I have been using CouchSurfing as a tool to travel the world. Initially it has been a cheap way of travelling, but eventually it becomes a great way of meeting really interesting travelers and hosts.
CS becomes a habit, it opens the doors of your house to the world, and it opens doors to feel at home all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has been great being part of this platform, and surely I will keep using it for long.
