About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel around Australia, New Zealand, SE Asia and india to experience new things

ABOUT ME

On the christening of my godson, the father described me as a free spirited soul with a kind heart and a big smile. I like to think this is true. I am very chatty and like to have good conversations with like minded people and love to learn about new cultures. I would say i was confident and outgoing and not shy to strike up conversations with strangers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to CS and am currently travelling around Australia, New Zealnd, SE Asia and india/nepal. On my return to Oxford I am keen to to provide a couch to people wanting to visit Oxford. I can also show them good place to go out to eat, drink where all the locals go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as yet but I would love to meet people who live in the place and know the area and therefore find out more about the country

Interests

Apart from travelling I am a sporty sort and this ranges from Snowboarding (which I adore), surfing (which I am just learning but wish to progress further), climbing, football (soccer), tennis, running.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide range of movies anything from blockbuster hits to arty cinema things, but I can never remeber the names of them. I usually rely on a spanish friend of mine who is really into movies for recommendations. Slumdog millionaire, Darjeeling limited, Coen brothers films.

Music - I love funk soul and all things funky. I have around 1000 records cluttering up my room at home. Am also getting more into bands partciauly, kings of leon, white stripes, kasabian etc and have been to Glastonbury festival for the last 4 years.

books: no real style really but I always buy the orange book winners book each year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once drove a citreon 2CV from London to Mongolia
