I'm a musician and artist recently relocated to New York City from Chicago with my girlfriend (she and I are both mostly-artist types). We realized staying in Chicago wasn't really the best position for us and we decided to get rid of all of our worldly possessions and get one-way tickets to NYC.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have since found jobs, but have yet to save enough money to rent and have been crashing with friends and acquaintances. However, at this point we've pretty much overstayed our welcome everywhere we can think of.
