One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 12 my parents were divorced and I was living with my dad and brother. One day my dad decided not to come back. I took care of my 9 year old brother for 2 weeks before we ran out of things I could cook and money to buy food.
In those 2 weeks I got my brother ready for school made him breakfast lunch and dinner and made sure he showers and brushed his teeth. I'm sure my food wasn't great but hunger makes anything taste great.
