I've lived in Perth, Western Australia, for most of my life. I'm still living at home at the moment and my parents aren't too keen on hosting anyone actually in the house, but I'd love to spend a day or two showing avid travellers around the most isolated capital city in the world if they want to flick me a message!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Headed to the US for 10 weeks at the start of August. The first 6 weeks of that I'll be at UCLA doing the last couple of units for my degree. After that, (finishing on September 10) I'm heading off on the real adventure, making my way to the east coast in 4 weeks, with my only current plan to be in New York for the 9th of October. Really keen to meet or preferably even live alongsode the locals along the way. It's the only way to travel.

I love my sport and the beach. Consider myself a pretty laidback guy and will adopt a "yes-man" attitude on my travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My cousin and I went to rural Cambodia in 2014 volunteering in an orphanage for 4 weeks. I developed a pretty good rapport with the locals and, of course, became really attached to the kids and teachers. I've since returned for 2 weeks earlier this year and intend on doing the same in July 2016.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enthusiastic and fun attitude. I'll easily clean up after myself and help out around the place wherever needed. Like I said, I want to LIVE ALONGSIDE the locals.
