My name is Jake, and I've just finished my university studies this year on exchange in Canada. I'm a very easygoing and sociable person who loves to explore new areas and cultures, hence why I've decided to make traveling my number one priority in life.

I enjoy a real mixture of activities, including hiking, reading, cooking, kayaking, basketball, biking and snowboarding. At the end of the day, I simply enjoy trying new things, so my list of interests could just keep going and going!

This is my first time using Couchsurfing so I don't have many references yet, but hoping to make this the start of an amazing journey. When I make it home, I'll certainly look to host surfers who make it down to Middle Earth.

I'm travelling for 6 months through the Americas and so would love to meet some great people along the way that I can share stories and experiences with. As I've mentioned, I love meeting new people and seeing different cultures, and I see Couchsurfing as the perfect way to do exactly that!
