About Me

I'm a student at the University of Rhode Island studying Spanish and Biomedical Engineering. I'm dedicated to my education, but also love traveling and meeting new people. I currently work as both a Math Tutor and an Undergraduate Research Assistant in a Chemical Engineering Laboratory at the University of Rhode Island.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to make connections with people from around the world in the hopes that I'll be able to travel and see the many cultures, people, and sites this world has to offer. And hopefully in the future I'll be able to host some of the friends I make along the way!

Interests

I love bike riding, the outdoors, hiking, shopping, fashion, camping, running, disc golfing, going out to eat and trying new food, watching movies, and learning about new cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Really anything directed by Quentin Tarantino. The Star Wars Trilogy, Harry Potter. I love movies that make me think like Donnie Darko and Inception. I also love horror movies, and my guilty pleasure is a gimmicky cringe-worthy horror movie.

Music: The Beatles, James Taylor, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink 182, Ed Sheerhan, Frank Sinatra, etc... the list goes on and on. I love all music, but generally I listen to Indie rock, Alternative Rock, and Jazz.

Books: I love mystery/thriller type books, authors like Harlan Coben and James Patterson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This may not constitute amazing but it is definitely miraculous. I once fell out of a tree when I was 10 years old from about 35-40 feet and walked away without a scratch on me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about any of my passions: Math, Disc Golfing, Trumpet, Language.

I'd love to learn about how people live in various countries, their language, culture, food, lifestyle, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have great enthusiasm for learning new things and meeting new people!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, England, France, Italy, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Spain
