About Me

Hi! I'm a goofy, curious, optimistic pilgrim, nomad, and dude. So far this year I've worked as a farmer, pet-sitter, au pair and content writer. In April I hiked the Camino Portuguese from Lisbon (600 KM!) and heard about this app from a friend. I'm now searching for cool people to meet and stay with all over the world!

I'm a deep thinker and love to go beyond small talk to really connect with people. Sharing meals, experiences and stories are life-long passions of mine that I've enjoyed all over the world. Some favorite destinations include Thailand, Spain and Japan 😁

If you're here on this app, it's already a good sign! So far, all of my meetups on here have been wonderful. Even if you don't have the capacity to host, I'd love to spend some time with you in your city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To form serendipitous new connections, save some money on nightly hostel stays, and offer the same when I get the chance 😁

Interests

I have so many! Storytelling, Nature, Technology, Activism, and spirituality top the list right now. Really though, I'm open to conversations about almost anything!

Music, Movies, and Books

So many. I've been reading a ton recently because I'm in the middle of applying to Creative Writing MFA programs. Pachinko, Man's Search for Meaning, Crime and Punishment, The Overstory, and James are recent favorites. I've been listening to a lot of Tom Misch and neo-soul, but I also love instrumental stuff (Sometimes I meditate to peaceful piano playlists). Favorite movies include American Beauty, Nights of Cabiria, Pan's Labyrinth, Do The Right Thing, Arrival, and Life is Beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked the camino! Beyond that I went skydiving, did a triathlon, and skinny dipped in the Red Sea

Teach, Learn, Share
