Hi! My name is Jake, and I'm a young college student whose primary interests lie in traveling and visiting different cities in America and beyond. Urban environments have always captivated me - I like to think of them as expressions of the large forces at play in a society. I'm also passionate about art, architecture, and planning, or how we use our physical environment.

Aside from that, I'm a huge animal lover and dog owner, a bit of a health nut, an exercise fiend, and 100% outdoor-crazy. Having competed in cross country before, I've grown to love running. I'm also an avid cyclist who prefers to bike just about everywhere I can, the weather making no exceptions. My ideal summer evening is one spent stargazing with friends.

I'm generally a down to earth, no-nonsense person who finds the most pleasure in doing simple things with genuine people. I enjoy the act of storytelling; exchanging ideas and experiences with others, if only for the sake of meeting and understanding them, is something I take to heart.

I also love many forms of music. I'm not quite talented enough to make much of my own, but I do enjoy drumming and singing in the shower.
