Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When traveling, it's always nice to know someone who can point you in the right direction to make the most out of your trip. It will be fun to be part of this community and I look forward to meeting people abroad.

Interests

Growing up in Utah, I have adopted quite a few interests that change from season to season. In the summer months, I will go on mountain trail hikes, small bike rides and go to theme parks. I grew up boating on Utah Lake, so my favorite thing to do is water ski, wake board, tube, and try anything else on the water. In the winters I am snowboarding whenever possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Though I mostly listen to hard rock, I enjoy all types of music. Among my most favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Metallica, Tool, Foo Fighters, and The Black Keys.

My wife and I watch a lot of movies, so I could name a few favorites in every category. I really enjoy mind bending and intriguing films. Some of my favorite directors are Wes Anderson, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher and Tim Burton.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge of the area, whether it be slopes, hikes or sights. There are plenty of fun things to do in relatively short distances. We also have a guest room we can share for short stays.
