Hi i'm Jake, born and raised in liverpool, England. I studied and recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a masters in Landscape Architecture.

I am a pretty easy going and relaxed person. I love being in nature, exploring new places and trying new things.

I've decided to spent the next 3 months or so travelling around Canada before looking for a job back home and i love the idea of couchsurfing to experience this beautiful country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recent finished my degree and have chosen to spent the next 3 months travelling around Canada, as its always been a place a have wanted to visit and now is the best time for me to be able to take a long period of time out for travel.

The main reason i am on couchsurfing is because it was recommended to me by my friends, as the ideal solution to cheap travelling cheap as well as getting to experience a place through a locals experiences of their city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in Uganda, through a student run charity, helping a small village (Mpigi) build new classrooms for 8 weeks and travel 2 weeks after in Tanzania.
