Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to take a portrait of every single human being.
ABOUT ME
I am: loyal to a fault and entirely supportive, intelligent and conversational, and energized. Do I have some snark? I mean, maybe, who's to say with that kind of thing. I'm a fan of puns. I'm the kind of person who loves to get mano-a-mano when it comes to having a conversation, and I'm not afraid of a debate, especially one that I lose. I love sugar. Like, a lot. I always have a book. I crave learning.
PHILOSOPHY
If I could show you my personal philosophy, it would probably be this video:

A little cheesy, probably, but that's alright with me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf! And maybe soon when I get back to New York, I will host! We just got an awesome couch, albeit a little ratty, but bedbug free and certifiably comfy.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
none, yet!
Interests
I've played chess since I was little. I am an actor, working in both film and stage, training at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, but I've also branched out now into direction and a little writing here and there which has always been something I dabbled in. I'm interested lately in internationalism in the theatre. I used to play some tennis, but I was never very good. I am lost without a book in my hand or in my bag; I like to read a lot, because it gives me something to do in life's in-betweens. I love used and rare book stores and limited edition / rare / signed books are what i'd spend all my money on if I was an accidental millionaire. That, and travel of course!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In a town outside Portland, where my aunt has a beach house, I saw the west coast of the United States for the first time. I used to go to the Outer Banks in North Carolina all the time but this coast was completely different. Besides being completely freezing, the coast stretched on forever. At night, when the Oregon fog soaked in over the coast, you could walk towards the sound of the ocean and by the time you reached water you wouldn't be able to see anything but fog and sand - no lights from houses, no trees, nothing. It was like being in limbo. I was overwhelmed.
In Brussels, where I just visited during a study abroad in Amsterdam, we were visiting on what turned out to be an independence day celebration. All day there were festivals and activities and things, but the real amazing moment was after we had already left the main park and the military parade and gone further into town to find a vintage store. We ran into a jazz band in the middle of the cocktail district and sang and danced with them, when all of a sudden five fighter jets shot overhead, followed by two transport planes and a fleet of helicopters. It was daunting and inspiring and when they shot over, the band started to play a rendition of amazing grace. I laughed because I didn't know what else to do, I felt so full.
