Good natured, easy-going, quirky guy from the Southern United States where I have always been a tad out of place. I was the awkward kid who worked in the library who ended up growing a body that was too big him, and now I just end up running into a lot of door frames and wall corners and tripping over my own feet like a giant, over-grown puppy. But, hey, its cool, I'm just gonna roll with it and continue to believe its charming and endearing.

In the past I have always hosteled because I enjoy the community of travelers and sharing space, time, conversations, and ideas with people from around the world. As I embark on my next journey around the world, I am greatly interested in sharing life with locals and gaining new insights. It's sometimes easy to forget that this whole world is made up of all of our human interactions, and I want my world to be as broad and diverse as possible (if that doesn't sound too cliche and cheesy...)

兴趣

I love travel, well obviously. I think that stemmed from my love of maps, Geography and Social Studies, even way back as a kid. I am fascinated by people and culture - my English degree was in Global Lit, and I minored in Sociology. Oh yes, and I LOVE food! I love to share a meal and a few bottles of wine with friends and listen to music and banter all evening. I love a great night out dancing and having fun. I love the beach as well as the mountains. But mainly, I am most interested in just hanging out with other people, no matter what form it takes.
