ABOUT ME

We are a British couple and are just about to set off on a trip we have been planning for what seems like years! We are fortunate enough to be going round the world for 6 months and we're looking forward to the adventures we're going to have!
Jake is a web designer, English teacher, HR bod, and sometimes very good at building things out of wood. Has travelled all over Europe and lived in Spain for a while
Laura works for Voluntary /Community organisations but am an aspiring jeweller the rest of the time, hoping to go to art college next year. I've lived in England and Scotland all my life, except for a little while in California sometime ago.
We are bth easy going, mellow and friendly people and we love having others around us

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Anything by Almodevar and spy movies (that's Jake). We've got pretty eclectic tastes in music - anything from Flamenco to folk to reggae but generally stuff from the 80's and before... There are tons of great books out there,anything slightly edgy usually gets my vote (Laura)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Drifting in a dingy along side a basking shark round the Island of Canna (Scotland) for nearly half an hour was awesome. All sorts of stuff, but Scotland really blows us away.

We hope to meet people we'd otherwise never have had the chance to get to know, to share knowledge and broaden ours and others' perspectives on the world. I also have a great recipe for vegan chocolate torte.
