ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Jake, i grew up by the beach near Melbourne Australia. After finishing high school I moved to New Zealand for 4 years to complete a degree in outdoor recreation and work instructing and educating in the outdoors. I then moved to Patagonia in southern Chile to build mountain bike trails in the mountains before travelling South America for 3 months. In 2011 I lived and worked at a school camp in the Blue Mountains Australia and pursued Rock Climbing. I reckon I'm pretty easy going and willing to try anything once. Get amongst it!

By surfing couches around the world and meeting amazing people to share experiences with. Can't wait to host everyone when I have a place of my own too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had Awesome experiences Couch surfing on the east coast of Brazil and over in Peru when I was travelling South America. I met awesome people and shared unique experiences which I would not otherwise have had if I was not Couch Surfing. I also met a Couch Surfer to Travel with for a few weeks.

Interests

I enjoy surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, mountain biking, yoga, playing the guitar and listening to music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Circum navigated New Zealand's Stewart Island in the middle of winter by kayak that I built. Built mountain bike trails in the mountains of Patagonia during winter. Surf Coral Reef in Indonesia.
