About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Show them all what's what.

ABOUT ME

My essence can be distilled into a box of text.

PHILOSOPHY

We're all a swirling foment of desires moderated by a sense of commonality with our fellow human beings. Each of us is tasked with the unavoidable yet impossible goal of creating our own concrete meaning.

That's all we know, and all we need to know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I keep my couch and my mind open.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a few surfers here. I've been surfing since I was 14.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I dig to almost anything. I love 60s rock/psychedelia, jazz of all kinds, death metal, punk and it's many derivative genres especially.

Books: Literature, short stories esp. Been really digging on Borges and Kafka lately. Modern/existentialist philosophy, various works of theory (Foucault, Barthes). History as well.

Movies: Clockwork Orange is my favorite of all time. Transgressive, thought-provoking, and disturbing. Things similar to that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping on the ground under the stars on Kyle mountain in Texas with nobody around for miles was a numinous and profound moment for me.
