ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Chemistry at the end of 2015 then ran off to Europe for a couple of months on a solo backpacking trip. Met some great people and had an unforgettable time. Long trips away from home teaches you a lot about yourself and how to adapt to unfamiliar environments. It's something I would recommend everybody do in order to get a bigger picture about the world, mostly in regards to the fact that there are good people everywhere - the majority of us are friendly, compassionate and will be kind to you if you are kind back!

Since Europe I've been living in Fremantle (get the hell down there if you come to WA) writing and producing music. As much as I'm going to miss the West coast, I'm heading to Melbourne to hopefully make something more of the songwriting.

Fave country is definitely Japan and I'll hopefully be going back there soon but the next trip I'm looking at will be another solo backpack but through New Zealand this time.

The couchsurfing community is full of outgoing, happy people who recognise what living is truly about. Society moves fast but having fun is something we should never let go of! And I mean like real fun, not buying things with money thinking it's going to make you happy.

For years I have been playing guitar and making music but I'd talk to anybody about mostly anything especially if you're passionate.

Personally I lean towards:

- Fishing, snorkelling, the beach and marine life
- Cooking
- Creativity and arts
- Camping and hiking

My music taste is mostly acoustic solo artists or duos and electronic pop. The rawness of just a voice and a couple of instruments is so powerful. Favourite artists include: Ed Sheeran, Passenger, Rachel Platten, Ellie Goulding, CHVRCHES, Nina Nesbitt, Gabrielle Aplin, Juliet Simms, Angus & Julia Stone, Halsey, Jasmine Thompson...

Don't read books or watch movies often but I'm into a fair bit of Anime and video games.
