ABOUT ME

I was born in the small town of Fostoria in Ohio. I was lucky to have parents who were active and participated in AFS, which is an exchange student program. Through that I met and made friends with people all over the world. Also, because of that experience I've been wanting to travel the world, to go "there and back again," like little Bilbo Baggins. I also have my B.A. in Economics through OSU.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to sympathize, empathize, and understand people. When I meet people that I am not able to do this, I try patience and politeness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I do not have a couch to offer, but once I do I will let as many people crash on my couch as possible. I'm looking to couch surf shortly, since I will be embarking on a cross country road trip very soon.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies! Anything from classics to art house, to foreign cinema, I love it all! I am usually reading a book, some of my favorite authors are: Joseph Campbell, Jose Saramago, Faulkner, Ellis, Tolkein, Herman Hesse, and Thomas Mann!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled in South America for almost 2 months. I love their culture so much and it is so beautiful there. I've also been skydiving and not the tandem way, I pulled my own cord the very first time!
