ABOUT ME

Hello! I am Jake. I'm a hardworking/fun loving guy. I'm pretty laid back unless I'm on a job or have an appointment. I love to travel and I'm about to rattle off some of my interests. I love cooking and have been working as a cook for the past few years. I play drums in a band in Bloomington. Check it out here http://wringer.bandcamp.com I am into hiking, and recently have taken an interest in some basic gardening and foraging. I'm interested in all aspects of culture from food to art, and love making new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a pretty happy person, and I think it comes with this philosphy. Failure is an invaluable tool for self-growth. I take a chance, I occasionally fail, but I always grow.

I surf, and would love to show people around my city. When I get the opportunity I will host as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in Berlin and Tel Aviv. I hope to have many more surfing experiences in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love dramas, films from around the world, comedy, animation. it's easier to throw out genere's than particular films.

I listen to a lot of music reggae, rock, country, folk, punk, ska, 50's-60's pop, blues, ect

I enjoy reading fiction of Vonnegut, Twain, the occasional graphic novel. I tend to read through a lot of cook books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled all over North America with my band we've played in Canada, 38 states in the US and once in Mexico.
