WHAT'S UP__
I'm travelling and working across the states with a 12-month working visa in hand. I'm moving to New York to conclude my journey across South America, CA, TX, NM, AZ, UT and in February '19 I'll be flying back to New Zealand (unless someone wants to keep me here).

ME__
I finished my Industrial Design degree in 2016 and it's time to go exploring. I'm primarily an artist and designer but I love playing music, writing and film photography
.
I've been working for an architecture firm in Sydney, Australia for the duration of my degree and beyond, partially designing in office and mostly onsite building doors and stairs and doing whatever needs doing! Now I do a bit of freelance for them, and have fairly extensive carpentry/cabinetry skills

I love fixing things, making things, designing things, drawing things, understanding things, you name it.

Art, Design, Music, Food, Drink, Books, Film, Cafe, Countrysides, Cities are my favourite categories. I try to dedicate equal amounts of myself to each. Love cooking for therapy - whatever's in the kitchen will often do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

NOW__
I value the opportunity to exchange something other than money for shelter and good company.

Currently in transit, I moved out of my last home.
But when I find a place, I'd love to return the favour.

BEFORE__
I went travelling after highschool in 2012 and stayed in a lot of really great houses through couchsurfing, mostly in Berlin, Paris, London and NYC

It has been a while, but I know the drill and I would like to save some extra money for the time being.

Interests

Love painting, drawing, photographing, playing music, writing, give me new things.
Love to walk anywhere.
Going to a cafe or a bookshop is a top pastime, and sketching things and people. If you show me a good cafe to do my thing or take me to a beautiful park, I couldn't really ask for more.

Love nature, and cities, alike. Born from a hybrid.
Being by the water inspires me a lot. I went from admiring water from a distance in NZ to swimming every day in Sydney. it's a dream
