Never been very good at writing but here goes... Names Jacob, 23 years old. Love to travel! Have a hunger for knowledge(useful or not). Have a passion for snowboarding but not so keen on the cold weather. Like to drink beer! Enjoy being physically active. Always up for laugh. Currently trying to learn Spanish which is proving somewhat difficult. Anything else you like to know just send me a message!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is karma. Not in a religious sense but i feel if i try to be a good person then good thing will happen to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far haven't participated very much because I've been away from home since i signed up. I would love to do more in the future as i think its an amazing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am quite new to couch surfing but have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences so far. The first time I hosted was around Christmas time while staying in a ski resort called Whistler in Canada. I had a great time showing them around the place I knew so well. The first time I surfed myself was around the start of June 2011 after spending a month living in a van while road tripping down the west coast of the US we decided to try out couch surfers in Mexico. To our surprise we ended up sleeping in beds for the first time in a month! but more importantly got to experience Mexican culture like we never would have if we hadn't used couch surfers.
