Traveling for work can be boring, you never really get to know people or a place aside from spending some time in the hotel or at your location working. It's much more fun to stay with someone local and learn more about the place and the culture.

Interessen

Photography, Films (watching or making), Food, Travel, Flight, Jet ski's, Technology, Design, Culture, and really anything else. Except for roofing houses. Don't have an interest in that per se.

BOOKS:
Night Train to Lisbon, Brave New World, The Garden of Eden, The Alphabet of Manliness, and Casino Royale (the original James Bond book).

MUSIC:
Ben Howard, Mat Kearny, Jack White, Atlas Genius, Frank Sinatra, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Rolling Stones, Los Claxons, and anything else you'll introduce me to!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Had a film in the Short Film Corner of the 65th Festival de Cannes where I slept through the 2nd world premiere of Moonrise Kingdom (it was past midnight and I had major jet lag, love the film though!)

Road tripped from Alexandria, VA back to Bellingham, WA over a month long span with my family. Saw a huge amount of the southern United States.

Met & worked with Martin Sheen on a film in Vancouver, BC

Flew a Cesna airplane around the WA DC area (I was 11 and co-piloted, but he let me steer the plane for a while).

Swam in the Mediterranean sea.

Handcuffed and gagged Titus Welliver (for a film of course)

An ongoing cool amazing this is constantly getting to meet some of the most interesting people and hear their stories, and that I get to make a living at doing that!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you about photography and filmmaking, how to make great images with a camera - even if it's a regular old point and shoot. If you get me talking about camera stuff, we'll most likely end up shooting some photos or making a short video.

I love to cook, and share my cooking. I can't teach you to cook, but I can teach you a few dishes. My family is Italian, so we'd probably cook something from the Italian Cuisine.
