I'm a 26yo german guy who travels around Australia at the moment. I've started in Brisbane and drove around three quarters of Australias coast already. I travelled up the east coast to Cairns, through the Northern Territory to Darwin and down the west coast to Perth and visited all the awesome beaches, nationalparks and lookouts on the way. Right now I'm travelling along the south coast with my girlfriend I met on my journey. We're heading to Melbourne and Sydney after that.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to get to know places or cities out of the view from locals and not like the average tourist who hurries from one sight to another... I want to meet and befriend amazing people who can give me some tipps, tell me some stories and maybe show me some cool spots the normal tourist doesn't see.

兴趣

I've played saxophone for over 10 years in several bands, orchestras and other combos and really enjoy playing. Another hobby is driving motorbike since I'm 18 years old. I drove down to the Alps a few times in summer and it's amazing. I really miss my bike and saxophone while I'm travelling but I'm looking forward to see them again when I get back to Germany.

There are songs in every genres I like but on a daily basis I prefer (Deep) House, Hip Hop, Reggae and a little bit Swing. I'm really into reading but most of the times I forget the names of the authors. My favourite german author is Frank Schätzing and I really enjoy reading Sebastian Fitzek. And there are way too much good movies and series to list, but here are a few of my favourites: Pulp Fiction, Into the Wild, The Lord of the Rings, Breaking Bad, Game of thrones, Shameless...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Diving the Navy Pier in Exmouth. It's one of the Top 10 dive sites in the world, as the instructors say and it was amazing to dive under the Pier structure with hundreds of different fish and a lot of sharks.

As I wrote before I'm learning Spanish. At least I learned it at school and now I'm trying to relearn some words whenever I meet spanish speaking people.
I can teach some german and how to play saxophone, if you have one :) I also know a few ukulele tunes if you have a ukulele. I can share stories from my journey and from all the countries I visited.
