On my flight back to Denmark from Israel and Palestine I sat next to a young guy from Portland. His name was Elliot. He offered me some Smarties and the conversation went on from there. We exchanged travel experiences. How we both had a thing for avoiding touristy spots and how we love getting in touch with the people that carries and defines the culture . Then he told me about Couchsurfing. Needless to say i was thrilled. Thats why I am here.
