My name is Jakob and I am from Austria, which is the country of Wiener Schnitzels and "Kasspatzln" (which I can cook, by the way ;)). I'm studying politics at the University of Innsbruck and love to travel the world in my leisure time. I'm open minded and like to get to know new cultures and to broaden my horizon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason I'm doing Coushsurfing is that I love to meet new people. I'd love to make new friends and to get to see the world as it is - and in my opinion couchsurfing is the best way to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

To be honest, i don‘t read a lot due to the fact that i have to read too much for university..
I like all kinds of music, but i prefer oldies (rock, folk), indie, hip hop and electronic music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to name one amazing thing. I did a lot of cool stuff e.g. bungee jumping in Kärnten, Christiania in Kopenhagen, tracking near Gjirokastra in Albania or backpacking through Thailand.
