my friend Ole and me are travelling from our birthplace in Germany to East by bike.

I've been cycling since I know and my parents did lots of bicycle tours with my and my brother when we were small children. This summer, a very good friend from school and I decided to make a tour into the East, until we reach Nepal. After some time in the mountains we have to fly back to some place in Europe we don't know yet, from where we'll cycle back to our hometown.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a bicycle tourist I see, smell, hear, and feel a lot of the places I visit. Despite that, I sometimes miss the contact to local people, their habits, traditions and knowledge over their home and environment. I see Couchsurfing as an opportunity to get deeper into the country, to dive in instead of just scratching/cycling the surface ; )
