Update 2018: We now have 2 kids, one 3-year old and one 5-months old baby

Update 2015:
We are now a family, our son Max started couchsurfing at the age of 8 months ;-). So far, he has visited Mexico, USA, France, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and the UK before the age of 1 year.

We like travelling, cooking, music, movies, biking and meeting new people.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We started hosting and surfing in 2010 and have surfed in several different countries since then. Most of our couchsurfing experiences have been in Europe but we also surfed in Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York.

We have met some of our chouchsurfing friends several times, for example by surfing with people we previously hosted.

Traveling (obviously), food and cooking (Jakob has worked as a chef), music (Maria is a great clarinetist), science, student associations, hiking, biking (we try to never take the bus)

We arranged the Nobel prize cermony afterparty for 1500 guests.

When it comes to traveling we have been to Tibet, traveled from Paris to Istanbul by train, seen pandas i Chengdu, snorkeled with Sea-turtles in the Philippines and spent a whole day haggling to buy a carpet in Kairouan, Tunisia...

Cooking for people, teaching cooking and learning new recipes. There is always new things to learn about cooking.

Scandinavian food seems to be really popular nowadays, but honestly there are a lot more exiting cuisines in the world. If you still want to try Swedish food we can probably cook something for you :-)
