Kia ora!
After finishing high school in summer I wanted to explore the world. As New Zealand is the most beautiful country in the world (and also one of the most expensive ones as I now know:D) I wanted to come here. I spent the first 18 years of my life.

Shortly after I turned 18 I founded an IT Company to be self employed and build websites for real estate agents. All I need is my laptop and internet. I will be in New Zealand until December and then return back to my home country, Germany. For I didn't learn English in high school I taught it myself and noticed a rapid improvement after coming here. Now I'm looking forward to meeting nice people like you:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. Everytime I get to know somebody new, I get so excited to learn about the new culture and what the person does for a living or what he thinks of life.
Kiwis are so kind people so I love to get in touch with them. It is very nice to visit new places and meet people like you kind enough to host me for 1 or 2 nights. See you soon, Jakob ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Classical music to work and Electronic Dance Music to work out. I love books as well. My favourite movie is the brand new "Top Gun: Maverick". It is just perfect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping out of a plane in Kerikeri and get to see Bay of Islands from 4km of height. The moment you jump of the plane is amazing.
