About Me

CURRENT MISSION

hanging around, having a good time

ABOUT ME

first of all i'm a student. i study to become a playwright, but thats not the first thing in life for me. if there is something like a "first thing in life" at all. i enjoy company and learning. i enjoy being a collector, collecting phrases of unknown heritage. i love comics and try to draw some. there are a lot of sentences with "i" in the front, that i find pleasure in. i think buffy was a pretty neat show.

PHILOSOPHY

none.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

share nights and languorous sundayafternoons.

Interests

flavours, the moon, furniture.

Music, Movies & Books

movies, well i love love love movies. some of my favourite directors are: chris marker, ozu, brian de palma, jean-pierre melville, kurosawa, peter greeneway, jean renoir, agnes varda, ming-liang tsai, roy andersson and so on.

i listen to a lot of rap music, some electronic stuff, some world indie pop-mixture and classical, especially bruckner und mahler. but the all-time-faves are more or less the early modest mouse, wu tang and everything that steve albini has touched (from slint to in utero).

reading: hamsun, pynchon, rainald goetz, highsmith, cechov.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

what leaves me awestruck are moments of closeness and beauty. being close to peaple, really and truly close. there doesn't has to be a waterfall, a tiger or glaciers turning into steam, though it certainly helps.
