Hi!
I'm a computer science student at the University of Aberdeen, coming from Poznań, Poland.
I think some of the best things in life are meeting new people, discovering new places (and learning all those tiny obscure facts about them), going through crazy, rememberable adventures. I also believe that the best experiences are the spontaneous ones!! One could say I'm adventurous ;) I'm always up for new experiences and getting out of my comfort zone, I like my life exciting ;)
Regarding hobbies, I'd say I have quite a few (apart from traveling 😁), including geocaching, orienteering, running, cycling... pretty much everything about the outdoors! I also love going to concerts and festivals. Live music is amazing. My recently learned skill is brewing beer, which now I absolutely love and brew every once in a while ;) I'm always happy to share a bottle if anyone ever ends up at my place, provided I have some of my previous brews left ;) In my middle and high school times, I used to act in theatre and films, I've even had an opportunity to perform in an opera! I miss it a bit now, I'm not gonna lie, but for reasons I don't really understand myself, I'm not doing it anymore. Maybe I'll come back to it who knows ;)
I enjoy chess, too! Used to play it even more "professionally" when I was a little kid, now just sometimes, as a hobby.
People usually perceive me as a very positive and open-minded person, so I think it must be true :D I never need much and always have a will to talk about everything :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I'd love to meet people from various countries, make new friends and learn about other cultures! How awesome is that, with couchsurfing I can do it all at once 😁 It makes travelling so, so much more interesting. Obviously, it's also a great way to support budget travelling (the kind I'm mainly interested in :DD) and to have a place to sleep on my trips :) I'm also absolutely willing to share mine in case anyone ever ends up in the place I'm at ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I enjoy mainly metal, especially progressive and atmospheric subgenres of it! I also often listen to classical music and post-rock, sometimes to new wave, prog rock, trip-hop... I quickly learn to appreciate any genre ;)

Movies - two words: Forrest Gump. What a wonderful movie that is.
