I can't learn or do all -but the more people I meet every day, the closer I get.

See life through different eyes by meeting someone from every single country in the Atlas before 35

---- Use with Extreme Caution ----

Easygoing, independent, affectionate and responsible 27-year-old woman who thrives by cultivating meaningful relationships. Cultured -yet never enough. I enjoy exploring new experiences every chance I get as an opportunity to grow and maximize our fleeting yet fortunate lives in wholesome grounding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because "A ship in port is safe, but that’s not what ships are built for."

Growth. Evolution. Fun. Travel -Each person I meet is a trip to a new world full of wonder.

Gratitude: I have a nice, extra bedroom used as home office in Back Bay with a comfy couch/sofabed and a Murphy for guests.

Unsuccessfully trying to learn water sports, salsa, martial arts & building a "piggy bank" of interesting individuals -Deposits? No envelope, please :)

2016/2017: Currently traveling the American West as potential relocation destination after 7+ years stationed in painfully cold New England.

Interests

Bucket lists. To do lists. Forgot to do lists.

Fitness, laughter, health and various ideas of success. Charles Bukowski. Reading (business, tech, metaphysics, science, *good* news etc..) cooking, tickling kids, daily yoga and meditation.

I take pride in playing "Hostess with the Mostest" in my home; do my hair, wear dresses and make-up; but don't be fooled -I'll ski, bike, play and lift weights like any athletic 15 year old.

Let's share our somewhat radical "no-one-understands-me-like-you-do" philosophies & test them out.
Otherwise, what's the point of all this?

Music, Movies, and Books

Current: Mastery by Robert Greene

Most non fiction with few exceptions: 1984 - Brave New World - Victor Hugo (more like SciFi-turned-Reality) Eduardo Galeano. Articles. Metaphysics and economics reads.

Samsara. Magnolia. American Beauty. Fight Club. Shawshank. Malena. Waking life. Clockwork...and another one too many.

Last week tonight with John Oliver is a current infatuation.

I DRINK music: Daily medley of Thievery Corporation, Gipsy Kings. Old Incubus. Salsa, flamenco, Snakehips, Bossa Nova. Tool. Pink Martini. Fitzgerald. Fabulosos Cadillacs. Elevator music. Pearl Jam. Billie Holiday. Kings of Convenience. Jarabe de Palo. Orishas. Khaled.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yoga. Caipirinha mastery. Gratitude. Light bending. Nonstop smiling. Acceptance. Allan Watts. Ineludible fluidity.

A "used-to-be" indoor bookworm, history buff and comfort creature, now turned into an all jolly, girly, lady-like nature junkie (if there's such thing) "here/now" enthusiast and "Moon freak". Forever epicurean. Music and books take the place of TV in my life (the occasional documentary, mind thriller or film thrown in for spice) finding better stimuli from trying on a new city, recipe, a sport or being in touch with people, nature and the great outdoors.

In other words, you won't find me teaching/sitting around much.. Let's get out and be DOers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell a Monet from a Manet :P

Intro to coconut & peanut butter spread by Earth Balance (I don't like peanut butter, but trust this is heaven!)

While traveling through your city long enough, I'd offer a bit of home designing, organizing and tidying up help if you're awesome and nicely request.
