About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Work out what to do with myself - and have fun while I´m at it.
Will also accept one or the other by itself at this point.

ABOUT ME

I first experienced Couchsurfing when I was travelling in 2012. After finishing high school I wasn´t sure what to do, so thought I may as well get out of my country and get some perspective. Couchsurfing ended up being one of the best parts of the experience! I like thinking and talking about important stuff. I like getting a bit silly. I'm pretty lost and confused about what to do in life. I like walking. People tell me I have a very unusual laugh.

This year so far, most of my time (apart from work as a waiter) has been spent on theatre- had three shows on in August- and now I've taken a surprise trip to the US to see family here. I thought 'It'd be so cool to go somewhere else new as well' so now I am!

+partying
+massively different experiences
+learning languages
+vegetarian/vegan ish thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far just surfing. I wasn't able to host at first, and haven't used CS in a while, but now when I get back home I may be able to start hosting (pending housemate approval!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I couchsurfed for the first time- in Natal, Brazil, it was such a good experience - met so many people so quickly, and got really annoyed I had to leave after three days. It made me wish I had couchsurfed everywhere, and now I'm trying to that wherever I can. My whole stay in a city feels so different and more human when I'm couchsurfing rather than in a hostel. I love that Couchsurfing is like a cheat code for being in with the locals in a city instantly.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: If you have the hiccups, block both your ears and takes three sips of water. It actually works. Every time.

Learn: I'd love to learn to sing.
