ABOUT ME

I was born in Peru but moved to Miami when I was about six years old. I recently graduated from undergrad at Amherst College in Mass., where I studied Neuroscience and Russian. I am currently conducting research at Stanford for a while and looking for great people around the area!

PHILOSOPHY

A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet. And the best way to learn about others is to share a little bit about yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I can't host because I am subletting, but maybe when I get my own apartment, I will be able to. But I'm down to hanging out in Palo Alto or going to the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to the Couchsurfing experience during a weekend at Ft. Myers in Florida, one of the best weekends I've had in a while. I met great people and had great fun at the beach! We all made our way back to Miami and went out a bit in South Beach, which was really fun. I wish all of them the best in their future adventures!

Intereses

I studied Russian in college because I wanted to learn a new language, and it opened a whole culture that I would not have been a part of before. This experience led me to seek out learning other languages and about other cultures, and couchsurfing seems a great way to do it! Currently, I am learning German myself, and hopefully I would love to learn Portuguese and Italian.

I couldn't decide between these two:

Russia - I spent a semester studying in St. Petersburg, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. My whole time here was amazing. I loved my time there and it helped fuel my love for learning other languages and cultures.

Peru - I recently went back to Peru to visit family and explore Cuzco. Machu Picchu was one of the most majestic places I have ever been to. I will definitely go back to Peru more often to explore more of what I have missed out.
